What Is Loftia?
Loftia is a cozy multiplayer life-sim set across floating islands in a warm, solarpunk world. Farm, craft, decorate, and explore alongside other players in a shared world as you help rebuild a brighter, more sustainable future together. It's the debut title from Qloud Games, an independent studio in Sydney, Australia, funded by a 2023 Kickstarter that raised over US$1.27M from 16,700+ backers.

What Can You Do in Loftia?
Farm the solarpunk way
Grow food with sustainable, new-age techniques like hydroponics, aquaponics, and trellis farming. Crop lists and yields will be added once Early Access is live.
Craft by upcycling
Repurpose discarded materials into useful gear and furniture — an old tire becomes a planter, reclaimed wood becomes a custom piece. Your tools run on renewable energy from the sun, wind, and rain.
Build your island home
Customize your own personal floating island and decorate your home however you like. Team up with others to form neighborhoods.
Live in a shared world
Meet and befriend NPCs, take on quests, and contribute to community projects in a living multiplayer world. Pets are confirmed as coming — details TBA.
A Cozy Game That's Actually an MMO
Most cozy life-sims are single-player or small-scale. Loftia is built as a true MMO — during its closed beta, players shared open city spaces with many others at once. If you've enjoyed games like Palia, Loftia lives in that same cozy-MMO space, with its own solarpunk identity and a floating-island twist all its own.
Loftia Closed Beta
Loftia ran its first closed beta from April 22 to May 6, 2026, drawing 24,648 players — its highest player count to date. The test showcased the Gridfall district, a concrete jungle rebuilt from scraps. Qloud Games has said it will keep improving and expanding the game ahead of Early Access.
