Yes. Loftia is built as a shared-world MMO — during its closed beta, players were in open city spaces together with many others at once. You can play and build alongside friends and other players.

Loftia is developed by Qloud Games, an independent studio based in Sydney, Australia. It's the studio's debut title, funded by a 2023 Kickstarter campaign that raised over US$1.27M from more than 16,700 backers.

Loftia isn't publicly available yet. Its first closed beta ran from April 22 to May 6, 2026 and drew 24,648 players — the game's highest player count to date. Nothing is playable between then and the Early Access launch on November 3, 2026.

You can join the playtest waitlist through the mailing list on the official Loftia website. Content creators can also apply to the Loftia Partner program: applications opened on September 2, 2026, with no minimum requirements to apply and future playtests among the advertised perks. Applying does not guarantee a test invitation. The announcement did not give a public beta date.
